Committed to an industrial, technological and digital transformation, GRTgaz is launching, as part of its Nova incubator, a new call for applications to accelerate the development of innovative start-ups linked to the industrial, energy and ecological transition, in synergy with the gas industry.
In January 2025, the Nova incubator will welcome a new class of up to four start-ups for 1 year. Winners will be offered shared workspaces on GRTgaz premises. They will also benefit from the support of its RICE research and innovation center, with access to test areas at the Villeneuve la Garenne and Alfortville sites, and the support of researchers. The Nova incubator will also offer start-ups tailor-made technical, methodological and entrepreneurial support (market research, economic studies, intellectual property expertise, contacts with investment funds, etc.).
GRTgaz is looking for innovative solutions to improve its performance and achieve its carbon neutrality objectives by 2050.
Selected startups will be able to launch experiments, benefit from RICE's expertise, and capitalize on synergies with other members of the promotion.
Guilain Yvon, CEO of Lium and Nova incubatee from class 1: "Our collaboration with GRTgaz has been phenomenal. They made industrial sites available to us, shared their expertise, provided financial support and invaluable information on their sectors, which enabled us to develop and grow. In return, we've also had the opportunity to pass on the startup culture and advise them on how to evolve in this world."
The call for applications is open from now until September 30, 2024. Nova will select the winning companies according to 5 main criteria: quality, feasibility, innovativeness, matching expectations and motivation.
Startups, you can submit your application here.
You'll find practical information on sourcing, the incubation process and actions, as well as testimonials from former incubated start-ups.
