Sibelius: interview with Jean-Luc Wychowaniec, architect

On July 8, 2019, RICE teams joined a brand new headquarters, the Sibelius, in Villeneuve-la-Garenne.

After Bois-Colombes and Gennevilliers, Villeneuve-la-Garenne is the third municipality in Hauts-de-Seine to host GRTgaz’s activities. At the origin of this move, the need to equip RICE with modernized facilities but also the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, since the headquarters of Saint-Denis is located on the site of the future Olympic swimming pool.

The Sibelius are:

  • 6000 sqm of land
  • 4700 m2 of tertiary premises and laboratories (10 in total)
  • 1000 sqm of activity space
  • a 200 m2 test pit to directly test gas delivery equipment
